In a heartfelt gesture, renowned singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has donated $100,000 to the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the victim who was tragically killed during the shooting incident at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade. The incident occurred on Wednesday and resulted in the death of Lisa Lopez-Galvan along with injuries to 21 others, including 11 children.

Swift, known for hits like 'Blank Space' and 'Cruel Summer,' made two separate donations of $50,000 each through the GoFundMe page, which was created for Lisa Lopez-Galvan. She also wrote a message along with the donation, "Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift." 

The fundraiser campaign of Lisa's GoFundMe has received $194,798, far surpassing its initial goal of $75,000.

Who was Lisa Lopez-Galvan?

Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a 43-year-old radio DJ, was described on the fundraiser page as an incredible mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is survived by her husband of 22 years and two children. Initial reports suggested that Lisa succumbed to her injuries during abdominal surgery, but later clarifications revealed that she died at the scene of the shooting. Her son, Marc Lopez-Galvan, who was also injured in the incident, has since been discharged from the hospital.

The tragedy also affected other members of Lisa's family as two relatives sustained gunshot wounds. However, Lisa's daughter, Adriana, who was present at the scene, escaped unharmed. The fundraiser aims to provide vital financial support to Lisa's family as they navigate through this unimaginable loss.
