Uttar Pradesh: Popular actress Tamannaah Bhatia, known for films like Baahubali, Aranmanai 4, and Rebel, embarked on a spiritual journey at the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Saturday. Accompanied by her family, she took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, seeking divine blessings from Lord Shiva. Dressed in a traditional salwar kurta, the actress immersed herself in the sacred rituals of one of the world's largest spiritual gatherings.
Expressing her emotions about the visit, Tamannaah described it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She shared, "I actually see so many people here. I feel we all want to be happy and free from our own sufferings. It is also the devotion and faith of people that we are all able to do such a big thing. At the same time, this is the belief of all of us that we are able to do so much together, and it is our grace."

On the same day as her holy dip, the teaser for Tamannaah’s upcoming film, Odela 2, was released. The film, directed by Ashok Teja, is a sequel to Odela Railway Station (2022) and features Tamannaah in the role of a Sadhvi.
Tamannaah is not the only celebrity who made a spiritual visit to the Mahakumbh Mela this year. Actress Nimrat Kaur also participated in the holy rituals and took a dip in the Sangam, describing the experience as "mesmerizing and deeply spiritual." Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, she wrote, "Words fail me to describe this experience... The unparalleled historical event of the Mahakumbh actually made me dive deep into its mythology and history." The Mahakumbh Mela has also seen the presence of other renowned celebrities, including singer Shaan, actors Vivek Oberoi, Vicky Kaushal, Vidyut Jamwal, and Juhi Chawla.
As the Mahakumbh Mela continues until February 26, thousands of devotees from across the country continue to arrive at Prayagraj to take a sacred dip in the Triveni Sangam, reinforcing their faith in this age-old tradition.
