After resolving the legal dispute with Shailesh Lodha, Asit Modi, the producer of the show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has opened up about the issues between them. Asit said that it was incorrect that Shailesh to go for a lawsuit when the consent was already settled between them.Asit also said that Shaliesh who proclaimed after receiving his dues from the producer, felt like a battle won. He also emphasised that Shailesh winning the case was false. Adding to this, he also asserted every actor who works for a show has to follow a set procedure during the exit but in Shaileshs case, it wasnt like this. Thus, his sudden exit from the show has left him shocked and surprised.Shailesh Lodha, who played the lead role in the popular TV show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah for over 14 years, departed last year from the series without mentioning any reasons. Notably, the show which holds the distinction of being Indias longest-running television show, has been surrounded with controversies concerning unhealthy work environments.Apart from this, a cast member accused Modi of sexual and mental harassment. However, he has refuted all the allegations against him.
