Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, known for her portrayal of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan's movie "Dangal," tragically passed away at the age of 19 in Delhi. According to media reports, Suhani had sustained a leg fracture some time ago, and the medication she took during her treatment reportedly led to complications, resulting in fluid accumulation in her body and ultimately causing her untimely demise.
Suhani had been undergoing treatment at Delhi's AIIMS hospital for a significant period before her passing. Her last rites are scheduled to take place in Faridabad on Saturday.
Suhani received acclaim for her performance in "Dangal," where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim. Following her role in the film, she appeared in several television commercials. However, she later decided to take a hiatus from acting to focus on her studies.
Despite her limited presence on Instagram, where she had around 20.9K followers, Suhani occasionally shared glimpses of her life, including photos with her "Dangal" co-stars. Her last Instagram post dates back to November 2021, featuring a couple of selfies.
The news of Suhani Bhatnagar's sudden demise has left the entertainment industry and her fans in shock and mourning, as they remember her for her unforgettable role in Dangal.
