Seoul: Stray Kids' member Felix sustained an injury in a minor car accident on Saturday night while returning from a fan meeting. As a result, he will be unable to participate in the highly anticipated SKZ 5’CLOCK fan meeting scheduled for Sunday. His agency, JYP Entertainment, released an official statement addressing the situation.
JYP Entertainment confirmed the incident, stating, "Hello, this is JYP Entertainment. While returning home from his schedule on February 15th (Saturday), Stray Kids member Felix was involved in a minor car accident. After the fan meeting, Felix was in a vehicle (Carnival), which was slowly moving from the Inspire Arena parking lot towards the main lobby when a shuttle bus, traveling at a slow speed behind, collided with the left rear side of the vehicle."
The agency further explained that although the accident was minor, Felix’s sudden shift in weight caused him to hit the armrest inside the vehicle, leading to a fracture. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where medical professionals advised rest and proper treatment.
"Felix is currently resting and focusing on his recovery. As a result, he will unfortunately be unable to attend Stray Kids' 5TH FANMEETING ‘SKZ 5’CLOCK’ scheduled for today (February 16th). We kindly ask for your understanding. We sincerely apologize to fans surprised by this sudden news. Please be assured that the health and recovery of the artist is our top priority, and we will provide all necessary support. Additionally, we will strengthen our measures to ensure that our artists can travel in a safer environment. Thank you," the statement concluded.
