Day 1 of Lakme Fashion Week had a vibrant range of fashion trends to set for fashionistas to look up to. Many Bollywood celebrities ranging from the 90s sweetheart Karisma Kapoor to the dashing Jim Sarbh walked the ramp one after the other.

The first day of this fashion gala opened with much hype and excitement with the much-talked-about INIFDLaunchpad show, which has been looked up to by most of the fashion lovers in the city. Let us look at some of the female showstoppers of this eventful Lakme Fashion Show.

Female showstoppers at Lakme Fashion Week

B Town Boss Ladies 

Karisma Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin and Saba Azad stole the spotlight after they wore designer Sanjay Garg’s creations at the Lakmi Fashion Week. Karishma wore a sparkly golden and black pantsuit crafted from gotta and silk. The smokey eye makeup and minimal accessories added more depth to her whole outfit as well.

Meanwhile, Saba Azad wore a complete golden pantsuit with cleanly tied hair. Her look was kept minimal with the focus only on the golden outfit paired with a cylindrical silver bag.

Kalki Koechin was seen wearing an effortless but stunning black saree paired with a silver one-shoulder blouse. Her complete look gave off a comfortable yet trendy aura with a unique sense of style. The outfit also showcased the versatility of the saree as a fashion statement.

Aalaya F

Aalaya F, daughter of Kiran and Kabir Bedi, wore Geisha Designs by Paras and Shalini at the Lakme Fashion Week. Her outfit has taken the internet by storm as netizens and fashion lovers have not been able to get over her looks. She wore a shimmery eye-grabbing co-ord set that channelled her inner boss lady energy.

She adorned herself in the ‘Nocturnal Enigma: The Tassel Tempest Ensemble’ from the latest ‘Profusion’ collection by the brand.

Hina Khan

On the other hand, Hina Khan also walked the ramp wearing designers Rajneer and Anisha’s creations. She made a grand entry on the ramp looking stunning in a pretty embellished petal skirt which she teamed up with a cropped, long-sleeved wrap-around and a white blouse with notched lapels.
