The Indian film industry has lost another star, a Bollywood actor and director, Satish Kaushik, who passed away due to a heart attack at 66. Satish Kaushik was well-known for his versatile and diverse acting and impeccable direction skills.

Satish Kaushik played the most iconic roles

He played some of the most iconic roles in Bollywood, including Calendar in “Mr. India,” Airport in “Deewana Mastana,” and Pappu Pager in “Deewana Mastana,” among many others. He enjoyed a long and successful, and memorable career in the Indian film industry, with numerous memorable contributions.

Strong supporter of the film city project 

Apart from his contributions to the film industry, Satish Kaushik was also a strong supporter of the film city project in Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. He thought the film city project would create new employment opportunities and make film production a major business in Uttar Pradesh.

He had a dream to shoot in Gautam Budh Nagar

Satish Kaushik had a dream that more and more films could be shot in Gautam Budh Nagar after the formation of the film city there. He met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath several times regarding this project. 

His sudden demise has left a void in the Indian film industry. He had worked continuously for several months to enhance film, artists, and talent in Uttar Pradesh. His passion for the industry will continue to inspire many.

Satish Kaushik was targeted by a fraudster

In 2020, he was targeted by a fraudster who posed as the owner of a web group. The fraudster cheated lakhs of rupees from a Delhi businessman, claiming to be Wave Group owner Manpreet Singh alias, Monty Chadha. 

A complaint was lodged with the Sector 20 Kotwali Police of Noida on behalf of the Wave Company management. The company’s Vice President Rohit Sharma had informed the police that a person who claimed to be Monty Chadha had met Satish Kaushik at a hotel in Mumbai. The fraudster tried convincing Kaushik to invest in a digital multiplex project.

Satish Kaushik’s sudden demise has left his fans and colleagues in shock. The Indian entertainment industry has lost one of the most talented actors and directors, and we will remember his contributions to the industry for years to come.
