Bollywood actor-director Satish Kaushik dies at the age of 67 years. The actor reportedly dies due to cardiac arrest on Thursday. Bollywood celebrities mourns the sudden demise of the actor, director and great comedian of Indian Bollywood industry. The death of the actor has left the film industry in shock with many condoling his shocking demise on Twitter. According to information, the actor suffered from cardiac arrest while travelling in a car in Delhi. His body will be taken to Mumbai today for last rites.

According to the information, his family has shared that actor’s motal remains have been taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi for postmortem.

Many people from the film industry shared their grief on Twitter. The great Bollywood actor, Anupam Kher, a good friend and colleague wrote, “I know, death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”

Kangana Ranaut, taking to Twitter, shared a picture featuring herself and Satish Kaushik as they shook hands. She wrote, “Woke up to this horrible news. He was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director Satish Kaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man. I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti.”

On Tuesday, Satish Kaushik was part of the Holi celebration party that was hosted by Javed Akhtar. He also posted many pictures with his friends and film industry friends after the party. In the pictures he posted on Twitter, Kaushik appeared alongside Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhry, and Javed. In the pictures, Kaushik was wearing a white T-shirt and orange jeans. In addition, he had dark shades on. While posing for the photos, Kaushik grinned. He was observed wearing colourful clothing and makeup.

He captioned the post, “Colourful Happy Fun #Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi.. met the newly wed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha.. wishing Happy Holi to everyone (rose and hibiscus emojis).” He also added the hashtags–friendship, festival, Holi 2023, and colors.

Not only Bollywood but also big leaders in politics paid tribute to Satish Kaushik. Union Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the late actor and shared condolences with his family. He wrote on Twitter, “Deeply saddened by the sudden demise of actor, director and writer Satish Kaushik Ji. His contribution to Indian cinema, artistic creations and performances will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to his bereaved family and followers. Om Shanti Shanti.”

Director Subhash Ghia who was very close to the actor-director Satish Kaushisk, also shared his grief through Twitter saying, “It’s just heart shattering news for me that we lost our one best friend #DEAR SATISH – a man who always laughed even in worst crisis and stood by anyone in his crisis “A great artiste. Greater human being greatest friend I know. He left us so sudden so soon. I am sad. Om Shanti.”

Early life of Satish Kaushik

Satish Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956, in Haryana. He graduated from Kirori Mal College in Delhi in 1972. The actor was noted for his roles as ‘Calender’ in the film Mr.India. He also won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice: in 1990 for Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for the film Saajan Chale Sasural. Apart from this also, he also won many awards for his work in the film industry.

Notably, in 2007 Satish Kaushik and his actor-friend Anupam Kher, who had been his batchmate at NSD, launched their own film company called Karol Bagh Productions. Their first film was Teree Sang, which was directed by Satish Kaushik.

The film industry and his fans will never forget the unmatched work done by him as an actor, comedian, and director.
