In a press conference for her upcoming film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, Sara Ali Khan addressed the issue, expressing her commitment to her work and her audience. She stated, “I take my work very seriously. I work for people, for you. While it would disappoint me if you don’t appreciate my work, my personal beliefs are my own. I approach places like Ajmer Sharif, Bangla Sahib, or Mahakal with the same level of devotion. I will continue visiting such places. People can say whatever they want, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s important to appreciate the positive energy of a place…I believe in energy.”

Sara Ali Khan has faced criticism in the past for her temple visits, and the recent incident at the Mahadev temple is not the first time she has been targeted by trolls on social media.

Sara Ali Khan visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple located in the Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh. During her visit, she actively took part in the ‘Bhasma Aarti,’ which is a renowned ritual at the temple. The Bhasma Aarti is conducted during the auspicious time of Brahma Muhurta, typically between 4 am and 5:30 am in the morning.

In adherence to the temple’s customs, Sara Ali Khan donned a pink saree for the ‘Bhasma Aarti,’ as it is mandatory for women to wear a saree during the ritual.

During the ‘Bhasma Aarti,’ she sat in the Nandihal of the temple and fervently offered prayers. Sara also performed ‘Jalabhishek’ inside the sanctum, signifying the act of pouring sacred water as an offering.

It is worth mentioning that Sara Ali Khan has visited the Mahakal temple on multiple occasions, demonstrating her devotion to Baba Mahakal.

During her recent visit, she spent time at the Kothi Teerth Kund located within the temple premises, fully engrossed in her spiritual experience.

Shifting focus to her upcoming film, ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,’ presented by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, it is scheduled to hit theatres on June 2.

Additionally, Sara will also be seen in ‘Metro… In Dino,’ which features a star-studded cast including Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
