According to recent news, it has been reported that Salman Khan intends to construct a 19-storey hotel at a prestigious and highly desirable area in Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has granted approval for the development of a hotel on a Carter Road plot that overlooks the sea, which is owned by the actor’s mother, Salma Khan.

Like many prominent Bollywood families, the globally renowned Salman Khan and his family have made significant investments in real estate. In a previous interview from 2011, Salman’s father, the esteemed screenplay writer Salim Khan, revealed his consistent practice of acquiring properties for his family, including his son Salman.

The plot, previously occupied by the residential Starlet Cooperative Housing Society, has received approval for the construction of a 19-storey hotel. Initially, there were plans to redevelop the plot as a residential building, but it appears that the Khan family has now decided to change course and develop it into a hotel instead.

Sapre & Associates, the architectural firm representing the Khans, has submitted updated plans for a “commercial centrally air-conditioned building” with a height of 69.90 metres. According to reports from a prominent entertainment portal, the revised plans outline the structure as a 19-storey building with specific amenities on each floor.

The first and second floors will house a cafe and a restaurant, while the third floor will feature a gym and swimming pool. The fourth floor will serve as a service floor, and the fifth and sixth floors will be dedicated to a convention centre. Finally, floors seven to nineteen will be designated for hotel use.

In April of this year, news emerged that Salman Khan had leased a flat in Mumbai’s Bandra West area for a monthly rent of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh. Apart from this, the actor also owns a residence in Galaxy Apartments, where he currently resides, as well as a farmhouse in Pavel and a beach house in Gorai. Following the underperformance of the film “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” Salman Khan is currently occupied with the shooting of “Tiger 3.”
