Even after much criticism, Salman Khan’s last feature film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ cashed in more than 100 crores at the Box Office, which explains his sturdy hold among his adamant fanboys. It’s been said to strike back at the Box Office with his star-led Diwali release Tiger 3 which is part of the much-hyped Bollywood’s spy franchise. The series saw an outstanding feat with its last venture ‘Pathaan’.

Blast from the past

Salman Khan’s first release is dated back in 1988 with ‘Biwi Ho Toh Aisi’ and the star never looked back ever since. Although he wasn’t a ragger with his first one, The Bollywood Tiger never backed down from a fight. It has been believed that Khan never used his father’s name to crack into the mainstream and is said to have modeled for various ads and photoshoots to get a shot at the more significant leagues.

Early life

Salman Khan breathed his first air in the winter of Indore in 1965. He had quite a family of famous Bollywood writer Salim Khan and his Mother Salma Khan along with three brothers and two sisters, out of whom Arpita was well known as the one who was adopted into the Khan-dan.

Back in the day, director Lawrence D’Souza cast him for a role in his 1991 Romantic Drama ‘Love’ which co-starred Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. While some believe he did a commendable job, many might say he overshadowed the others with his effortless charm.

Salman grew exponentially with his big-ticket blockbuster ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ in 1989 which was his shot to fame. Khan was also praised for his performance in ‘Saajan’ which he took to the next step with the 1991’s romantic venture ‘Love’.

Salman saw a series of flops and finished tags before he came back with his action romance ‘Tere Naam’ and later slingshot his career around the end of 2010. This was the time when he turned onto the action genre with Dabangg, Wanted, Ready, Bodyguard, Kick, Sultan, and more that crafted his throne which he resides on lately. Salman further has a sturdy lineup with Karan Johar and Vishnu Vardhan’s untitled Dharma film, a Sooraj Barjatya romance, and future addition to the spy universe films. The actor was recently seen dawning a buzz-cut bald look which is speculated that he could be for preparing for a role ahead.
