They are accused of orchestrating Pereiras journey to Sharjah, where she was apprehended with drugs concealed in a trophy.Pereira, a victim of their scheme, had been wrongly implicated in drug smuggling, a charge from which she was eventually exonerated by UAE authorities on April 26.Pereiras entanglement in this web of deception began when she was lured to Sharjah under the pretext of an audition. Just before her flight, Ravi handed her a trophy containing drugs, falsely claiming it was a part of the audition prop. The Sharjah Court had been waiting for a report from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) since April, during which Chrisann was released on bail.The intricate scheme devised by Anthony Paul, with the aid of Rajesh Bobhate, aimed to ensnare multiple individuals in their trap of false drug smuggling accusations. It has come to light that Paul orchestrated this elaborate revenge plot against five people, utilizing their unwitting involvement in drug trafficking to extort money from their families.Police investigations revealed the extent of Pauls malicious intentions. The baker, burdened with significant debts, masterminded a sinister plan to exploit unsuspecting victims as drug couriers. He deliberately arranged for his targets to be arrested at Sharjah airport, where he would alert the authorities about incoming passengers carrying narcotics.Currently, both Anthony Paul and Rajesh Bobhate are in judicial custody.
