Bollywood actress Saba Azad recently addressed a troll who tried to undermine her career by commenting on her relationship with actor Hrithik Roshan. The comment suggested that Azad didn’t need to work because she was “the girlfriend of the Greek God,” referring to Hrithik. Azad, who never shies away from speaking her mind, took to her Instagram Stories to deliver a powerful retort to the insensitive remark.
The incident took place after Saba shared the teaser for the second season of her show, Who's Your Gynac, on her Instagram. A comment under the post read: “I thought season 2 would never come, after all @sabazad Madam Ji is the official girlfriend of the Greek God. But now I am very excited for the next season.” This comment caught Saba's attention, prompting her to respond. In her Instagram Story, she wrote: “Ok sumit ji uncle ji!! Maybe in your world when people fall in love they become incapacitated landlords stop asking for rent and the need to put food on one’s own table magically evaporates!! Wah!!” With this sharp reply, Saba made it clear that her professional ambitions and financial independence are not defined by her relationship status.
Saba Azad and Hrithik Roshan have been dating since 2022. The couple made their relationship public when they attended Karan Johar's 50th birthday party hand in hand. They have since been quite open about their love for each other, often sharing heartfelt anniversary posts. The couple celebrated their third anniversary in October 2024, with both sharing sweet messages on social media.
Saba, known for her roles in films such as Detective Byomkesh Bakshi, Shaandaar, and Karwaan, has made a name for herself in Bollywood and continues to build her career, regardless of her personal life. Hrithik, on the other hand, was previously married to Sussanne Khan, with whom he shares two sons, Hrehaan (born 2006) and Hridhaan (born 2008).
