Riddhima Kapoor remembers uncle Rajiv Kapoor on birth anniversary, shares pic

Remembering the veteran actor Rajiv Kapoor on Friday, members of the Kapoor family took social media to pay tribute to Rajiv Kapoor, who was fondly called Chimpu by his loved ones.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, dropped a vintage picture from the gallery. The picture shows brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor posing together.

While posting the image, Riddhima captioned it, with flower and heart emoji. Notably, the verteran actor Rajiv Kapoor made his acting debut with 1983 movie ‘Ek Jaan Hain Hum’. He was the youngest of Raj Kapoor’s three sons. His performance in the 1985 song Ram Teri Ganga Maili is what made him most famous. His most recent appearance was in Mridul Mahendra’s film “Toolsidas Junior.” After his passing, the movie was released.

On January 9, 2021, Rajiv, 58, passed dead after a heart attack. At the Mumbai crematorium in Chembur, his last rituals were conducted. Rajiv Kapoor’s Chembur residence was visited by family members Randhir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, and Armaan Jain.
