Ranbir Kapoor's Animal emerges as Box-Office monster! Becomes 2nd fastest ₹100 crore Hindi film of all time

Animal has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan to become the second-fastest Hindi film to cross the ₹100 crore nett threshold at the domestic box office. The Hindi version of Animal made ₹113.12 crore nett in India in the first two days, surpassing the ₹111.73 crore nett earned by Shah Rukh's Jawan in the same period.

Top-tier blockbusters

Salman Khan's Tiger 3 and Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 are among the top five fastest ₹100 crore Hindi films, while Shah Rukh Khan's other 2023 blockbuster, Pathaan, continues to hold its top spot with a Hindi total of ₹123 crore nett in India within the same 2-day timeframe. Ranbir Kapoor's Animal comes in at number two, and Shah Rukh's Jawan comes in at number three.

Tiger 3, which was released on Diwali 2023, is fourth on the list with ₹101 crore nett in two days, while the Hindi version of Kannada actor Yash's KGF sequel, which was released in 2022, is fifth with ₹100.74 crore nett in two days. Both movies also required two days to cross the ₹100 crore nett mark at the domestic box office.

Kapooring his way in!

The Ranbir Kapoor film Sanju (2018) collected ₹120.06 crore nett in India in three days; Salman's Tiger Zinda Hai comes after it with ₹114.93 crore nett; and Prabhas's Adipurush (2023) rounds out the top ten with ₹112.75 crore nett on the biggest opening weekend list.
