She was a contestant on the first season of the Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss 1 and a challenger and finalist in Bigg Boss 14.Actress and dancer Rakhi Sawants brother Rakesh Sawant talked to the shutterbugs present outside the Oshiwara police station and has revealed that he and his family members saw bruises on Rakhis body when they met her a day after their mothers demise. When we took Rakhi to Cooper hospital for a medical aide, Rakhi Sawants husband Adil Khan Durrani has been detained by Mumbai police after the actress filed an FIR against him.Their marriage is now hit by trouble following Rakhis accusations of Adil physically assaulting her and having an extramarital affair. She even filed an FIR against her husband at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai following which Adil got arrested.On Wednesday, Rakhi Sawant was spotted outside the police station where she was approached by media regarding the topic of Love Jihad. Upon hearing the topic, Rakhi Sawant became visibly upset and delivered a strong response to the media before promptly leaving the scene.Furious Rakhi Sawant is seen refusing the Love Jihad angle to her broken marriage and being a Musalman herself, said, “mein khud ek musalman hun, meine islam qubool kiya hai, Hindu-Muslim ke bare mein mujhe kuch nahi bolna.” Rakhi Sawant got married to Adil Khan after accepting Islam last year. Their Nikah took place on May 29, 2022. She has also changed her name from Rakhi to Fatima.Rakhi further accused her husband of assaulting her, taking away her money and jewellery without her knowledge, having unnatural sex, and dowry harassment.The actress told the police that the couple met and got into a relationship in January 2022 following which they opened a joint bank account. She accused that without her knowledge her husband withdrew more than Rs. 1.5 crores from the account in June last year to buy a car. She did not object to it as they were to get married around the same time.When the accused assaulted her, she was forced to lodge a non-cognisable offense complaint, following which she even received threats of acid being thrown on her face, or get her killed in a road accident.
