Rag-neeti: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann seen dancing in Parineeti and Raghav’s wedding

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha is set to tie the knot on Sunday, September 24 at the Leela Palace in Udaipur. The festivities are going on in full swing and many guests have already arrived for the wedding.

The ‘Chooda’ ceremony of Parineeti began in the daytime on Sunday followed by Raghav’s ‘Shehrabandi’ at 1:00 PM. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha will have a sundowner wedding today.

In a unique entrance, the groom will ride a boat from the iconic Lake Palace to the wedding venue for the ‘baraat’ to arrive at the wedding. The Pheras and Vidaai are scheduled to take place at 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM respectively, followed by a starry reception for the guests in the evening.

Punjab CM dances in wedding

Several pictures and images have come up from the couple’s Sangeet held on Saturday, September 23. These pictures have leaked and are now doing rounds on the internet, despite the strict no-phone policy for the wedding guests.

The Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann can be seen dancing and enjoying in one of the videos that is doing rounds on the internet. In the video, he is spotted among the crowd wearing a yellow turban and enjoying the live performance.

Rag-neeti: Parineeti and Raghav Wedding

Not much is known about the romance that brought Parineeti and Raghav together, however, the two are believed to have known each other for a long time now. The couple got engaged on May 13, at Delhi’s Kapurthala House in Delhi.

Many politicians and prominent names from the entertainment industry attended the engagement ceremony including Desi girl Priyanka Chopra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Abhishek Singhvi, Sanjay Singh, and Rajiv Shukla and his wife Anuradha Prasad, singer Mika Singh, fashion designer Manish Malhotra and others.

Priyanka Chopra, who is the bride’s cousin is still in the US and has said that she’ll not be able to attend the wedding on Sunday, as per media reports. However, Priyanka had wished the couple the beginning of a new phase in their lives on Instagram earlier.
