Heartthrob Indian Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again stole the spotlight with her breathtaking red carpet appearance but with a twist of an injured hand, as she walked in the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals.

The Bollywood icon, known for her impeccable style and grace, left fans and fashion enthusiasts in awe with her carefully curated look where she was seen in a dramatic gold strapless black gown, featuring an elaborative train along with white-coloured billowy puff sleeves.

Aishwarya's alluring Cannes ensemble

Aishwarya wore an outfit designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock that was curated in a way to complement her plastered arm. The dress, featuring intricate design and a flowing silhouette, highlighted her regal presence. Paired with elegant accessories and her signature poise, the ensemble was hailed as a perfect blend of sophistication and class. Her train, which flared from the end of her gown was decorated with hand-beaten gold flowers. The choice of gold was intentionally done to reflect the 'timelessness' of Aishwarya's beauty. Her makeup was subtle yet effective, coupled with winged eyeliner and a nude shade of pink lipstick. For her accessories, SHE opted for heavy gold half-hoop earrings that outshined throughout the evening.

Fan's reactions

Ever since Aishwarya's images have floated on social media platforms, fans from across the globe have outpoured their love and admiration for former Miss World. Fans and critics alike lauded her for consistently delivering standout looks, solidifying her reputation as a true style icon at Cannes.

Aishwarya's Cannes journey

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a prominent figure at the Cannes Film Festival since her debut appearance in 2002 for her film Devdas. Back then she wore a saree which was the work of designer Neeta Lulla.

Her presence at the Cannes Film Festival not only highlights her fashion prowess but also underscores her influence in bridging the gap between Bollywood and the global entertainment industry. This year, she has walked the red carpet for the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola's film Megalopolis.
