Punit Tiwari, a rising talent in Indian cinema, has made a remarkable big-screen debut in the action-packed thriller Ground Zero, sharing the spotlight with Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi.. Punit shared his experiences in an exclusive conversation with India Daily.
Expressing his views on the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir, Puneet said, 'Nothing can be more horrific than what happened in Pahalgam. The attack on 28 people was a heart-wrenching scene.' He told that many scenes of 'Ground Zero' were shot in Pahalgam, where he saw the beauty with his own eyes. Puneet said, 'Kashmir is truly heaven. The journey from Srinagar to Pahalgam was so beautiful that I cannot describe it in words.'

Sharing even one scene with him was a fanboy moment for me.' While posing for a photo during the shooting, Puneet said to Emraan Hashmi,
'Sir, your films have made me young.'

The story of the film is based on the backdrop of the Parliament attack and most of the shooting was done in Kashmir. BSF and local people gave full support in the shooting.
Praise for the people of Kashmir
Praising the behavior of the people of Kashmir, Puneet said, 'People are very hospitable and helpful. From the driver to the hotel staff, everyone helped wholeheartedly.' However, the terrorist attack a few days before the release of the film shocked everyone.
When asked about his experience of coming on the big screen, Puneet said, 'Doing TV series and short films is a different thing, but commercial films have their own magic. The fun of watching films on the big screen is unique.
