As Prakash Raj’s latest tweet has sparked a controversy, the actor now landed into a battleground of ‘legal trouble.’ Yes, you read it right. An FIR has been lodged against Prakash Rij at Banahatti police station in Karnataka’s Bagalkote for mockery of India’s Moon Mission – Chandrayaan-3.
Reportedly, the FIR was filed against the actor after the police received a written complaint from two activists of a right-wing group.
In a written complaint, the activists said, “Prakash Raj has lost his mental composure. He should be arrested immediately. The world is praising ISRO scientists for the Chandrayaan-3 project but Prakash Raj made their mockery by posting a sarcastic tweet. We demand legal action against him.”
Amid this, the police booked him, saying “A complaint has been filed against actor Prakash Raj for his post on the Chandrayaan-3 mission.”
The police added, “Hindu organisations leaders filed a complaint against the actor in Banahatti police station of Bagalkote district and have demanded action.”’
On Sunday, the actor shared a cartoon illustration of a brown man in a vest pouring tea. He captioned the post: “BREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander Wowww #justasking.”

Since the post was shared by the actor, it triggered a massive conversation for mocking ISRO and its project Chandrayaan-3. However, this is not the first time, that Prakash Raj has taken a swipe at the ruling government and BJP. He was also trolled and called a ‘blind hatred against BJP.’ But, he is still the same.
