India is all set to witness actor Prabhas’ Salaar,’ which is also one of the anticipated films of 2023. The much-awaited film was scheduled to hit the theatres on September 18. However, there were reports that ‘Salaar’ has been postponed. Now, finally, Hombale Films, the production house, confirmed the film’s delay today. Also, a new release date for the film will be announced soon.

‘Salaar’ is officially postponed!

For those who are unaware, ‘Salaar,’ starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, was scheduled for a grand release on September 28. However, now it is confirmed that the film has been postponed after a delay in post-production.

Taking it to Instagram, Hombale Films wrote, “We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we’re committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.”

This movie is helmed by Prashanth Neel, and stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukuman, Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu. Salaar is backed by Homable Films.
