Suraj Kumar, a 24-year-old Kannada actor popularly known as Dhruwan, faced the horror accident on Saturday at around 4:00 PM when his two-wheeler collided with a tipper lorry while attempting an overtake manoeuvre. The details of the accident were confirmed by the local police.The actor was driving on his bike from Mysuru to Ooty when he tried to overtake a tipper on the Mysuru-Gundluper highway near Bengaluru. He lost control of his two-wheeler and collided with the lorry in the Hirikati Gate area. He was rushed to the hospital in Mysuru, where doctors had to perform a life-saving operation that resulted in his right leg being amputated from below the knee.The Bengaluru Police have registered a case under the relevant sections, and an investigation is underway.
