OMG 2 actor Pankaj Tripathis father Pandit Banaras Tripathi has bid adieu the world in his late 90sThespian Pankaj Tripathi riding high on the success of his recent film OMG 2, is now off to his hometown – belsand in Bihar, to fulfill his duties to his father last rites that will be performed today amongst his immediate family.The actor was said to be shooting for a future venture at Uttarakhand from where he left immediately after hearing the sorrowful news of his fathers demise.The actors father Pandit Banaras Tiwari (98) is said to have led a full life. Also, it is reported that he did not know much about Pankajs acting prowess. The film star recently issued many statements regarding the success of OMG 2 and the love he is receiving.Tripathis OMG 2 co-actor Akshay Kumar offered condolences after the news came out. The actor broke it down by saying how his father wanted him to become a doctor. The place where he hails from people only knew two professions: an engineer or a doctor.He added that his family did support his acting dreams and he left no stones unturned in his journey. Pankaj always wanted a simple life and aspired for the same. He later told is parents that if he travels to Delhi (Pankaj is an alumnus of National School of Drama), he could even get a government job.In several other interviews the actor mentioned the support and love of his father that raised him to be the man he is today.
