Filmmakers keep coming up with new shenanigans every now and then to woo their audiences and keep buzzing in the news. Following the same, the makers of Adipurush have announced that in every theatre screening Adipurush, they will keep one seat vacant for Lord Hanuman. In India it is believed that Lord Hanuman marks his invisible presence where the Ramayana is recited or Lord Rama is celebrated.

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is slated to release on June 16. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Meanwhile, sharing the information the makers stated that Lord Hanuman is believed to appear wherever the Ramayana is narrated or performed. This is common belief in India. Showing respect to this belief, in every theatre where the film will be shown, one seat will be reserved and will not be sold. The makers stated, “We started this great work in an unknown way. We all must see the Adipurush built with great grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman.”

What is Adipurush film all about?

Adipurush is a mythological film based on the Indian epic Ramayana. The film features actors Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage in crucial roles. Made on a huge budget of Rs 500 crore, the film has been making headlines since it was announced.
