As Rajinikanth’s fans are gearing up to witness him in his upcoming film Jailer which will be releasing in theatres on August 10, here’s a special announcement for everyone. Now, all offices in Chennai and Bengaluru will be closed on the day of Jailer’s release. That’s not it, some of the firms have also handed free tickets to their employees. Marking Rajini’s first film after two years of break, Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial movie promises to become an action-packed entertainer.

Offices give a day off, distribute free tickets for Rajinikath’s Jailer 

Well, the film is well set to hit the cinemas worldwide this Thursday. The fans are eagerly waiting for his much-anticipated film and that’s even visible on social media that netizens have started a countdown days before its release. Amid these expectations, a company’s holiday announcement on ‘account of the release of superstar Rajinikanth’s movie Jailer’ is going viral.

Taking it to Twitter, a company said in its notice that it declared a holiday on August 10 ‘to avoid piled up leave requests to the HR department’. The notice further said, “We also take the privilege of going the extra mile to support antipiracy by providing free tickets to employees…”

About Rajinikath’s comeback movie – Jailer

After two long years of break, the legendary actor is back with his film and everyone is waiting to witness him in a role of a retired police officer. Also, this movie marks his first-ever collaboration with Nelson Dilipkumar.

Earlier this month, the official trailer of Jailer was released, which gives a glimpse of veteran actor Jackie Shroff as he threatens Rajinikanth over a phone call. Apart from these two actors, Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan are also in this movie.

The filmmakers also tied up with the veteran Malayalam actor, Mohanlal for an extended cameo in the film. On August 5, the makers took to Twitter (or X) and released a new poster featuring Rajinikanth and Mohanlal together in one frame. They can be seen sitting on a couch and having a conversation. Sharing the poster, Sun Pictures wrote, “5 days to go for Jailer storm in theatres! Jailer from August 10.”
