Kangana Ranaut‘s last ventures haven’t been successful at the box office, so to speak. Her recent release ‘Chandramukhi 2‘ has barely remained afloat, and her last outing with ‘Dhakkad’ was a colossal debark at cinemas.

Kangna can nowhere be seen stopping as she took to social media, along with RSVP Movies, to share the teaser for Ranaut’s upcoming movie ‘Tejas’ on Gandhi Jayanti.

The makers dropped the teaser and tweeted, “She is ready to take off for the love of her nation kyunki agar Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi (If you touch India, she will not leave you). Trailer out on Indian Air Force Day, 8th October… Tejas In cinemas on 27th October.”

Decoding the teaser!

In the movie, Kangana plays a pilot with the Indian Air Force. The brief video shows the actor getting ready to take off from an Air Force station while wearing the uniform along with a dog tag. She presents a strong image of a woman in the Air Force officer avatar, rocking the aviators. The teaser is backed by powerful music composed by Shashwat Sachdev. The trailer date was also announced at the end of the teaser; it has been set for October 8th, which is Air Force Day as well. The film is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and is said to be a biopic of IAF Officer Tejas Gill.

Surge of Aireal Action for Bollywood?

The makers also declare the film India’s first air-action film. It has also been known that Hrithik Roshan is also set to play an Air Force officer in his next ‘Fighter‘ that will be released on January 26, 2024, and Akshay Kumar also announced a film on Air Strike. As he plays an officer, it is also speculated that Khiladi Kumar, Akki, will also feature as an Air Force officer in the remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Portu.
