Animal: Bobby Deol’s first look out now, appears in a bloody avatar!

Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Kabir Singh fame will direct Ranbir Kapoor‘s Animal, which will be released on December 1. The adversary’s first appearance in the movie’s teaser was disclosed two days before its release. The actor shared his powerful poster on social media.

Decoding Bobby’s look

Bobby, who is battered and has blood on his face, manages to enchant with his animal poster if you thought Ranbir Kapoor’s rugged animal appearance foreshadowed the action in the movie. In his striking first-look poster, the actor appeared to ask someone to keep quiet while wearing a fancy blue suit. Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna’s first-look posters were also previously released by the film’s creators.

The animal has the financial support of Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a never-like before avatar in this crime drama. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, whose 2017 Telugu smash Arjun Reddy starred Vijay Deverakonda, is behind the camera for Animal. The director adapted the movie as Kabir Singh in Hindi. It was a huge success in 2019, starring Shahid Kapoor.

Ranbir in uncharted territories

“It’s a new territory for me. It’s a crime drama and a father-son story. It’s something audiences don’t expect me to do. It has got shades of grey. He is very alpha, again, something I’m not. So, I’m looking forward to it. It is completely out of my comfort zone. As an actor, such challenges are important as it really shook me up. It made me work hard and realise how inadequate I’m and how much I needed to work to reach a certain level,” the actor had told PTI earlier this year.
