Miss World 2024: The world of glamour and grace is set to converge in India as the Miss World pageant returns to the country after a long 28-year interval. Organisers have announced that the globally televised event will commence in New Delhi on February 18, 2024, sparking a month-long celebration of 'Beauty with a Purpose.' The grand finale will take place in Mumbai on March 9, 2024.

Representatives from 120 nations will gather in India to compete for the coveted Miss World crown, each bringing their unique stories and aspirations to the stage. The event will take place across stunning venues, including the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, the G-20 venue, and Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

The month-long pageant will feature an array of exciting events, including the Miss World Sports Challenge, World Top Designer Award, Talent Final, Head To Head Challenge Final, and a captivating Red Carpet Special. 

India's hope rises with Sini Shetty

The Femina Miss India World 2022, Sini Shetty, will represent India on the international stage. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer and aspiring finance professional, Shetty embodies beauty, intelligence, and a heart for service. A legacy of Indian beauty queens

India has a rich history with the Miss World pageant, having produced six winners in the past, which include Reita Faria Powell (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (2000), and Manushi Chhillar (2017). The country now eagerly awaits the possibility of adding another name to this list.

When and where to watch the crowning moment

The grand finale, scheduled for March 9 from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, will be telecast live, inviting audiences to witness the crowning of the next Miss World. This year, each contestant will have a dedicated media channel on the MissWorld.com platform, where they'll showcase why they should be in the Top 20 Finals.
