The Miss Universe Organisation has terminated its ties with the Indonesia franchise following sexual harassment allegations.Miss Universe snaps Indonesia ties after sexual harassment allegationsTaking it shocking announcement to X, formerly known as Twitter, the organiser of the international major beauty pageant wrote, “In light of what we have learned took place at Miss Universe Indonesia, it has become clear that this franchise has not lived up to our brand standards.”Reportedly, the Malaysia edition, also hosted by Indonesias PT Capella Swastika Karya, will be cancelled too amid this announcement.However, Capella Swastikas national director Poppy Capella has refused any involvement in body checks in a statement on Instagram.
