Manish Malhotra, the celebrity fashion designer who is responsible for setting the trend when it comes to Bollywood fashion, hosted a grand Bridal Couture show in Mumbai on Thursday.

The Manish Malhotra Bridal Couture show, as it was called, was attended by some of the biggest names in Bollywood, ranging from bonafide stars like Kajol and Deepika Padukone, to rising talents like Neha Sharma and Rakul Preet Singh.

Alia Bhatt walked the ramp in the Bridal show to aplomb from the crowd, as she looked angelic in a copper-coloured heavily embellished lehenga. She donned a long trail on her head, and her walk has mesmerised her fans and onlookers alike.

Nora Fatehi looked glamorous in a plunging black saree with a high-high slit, and she carried her look with extreme charm and grace.

Kajol, wearing a baby pink saree with hot pink borders reportedly worth ₹2.25 lakh, looked like a real-life Barbie. She arrived at the event with her sister Tanishaa Mukherji, who donned a yellow saree with a plunging neckline.

Rhea Chakraborty too opted for a rose gold embellished saree, posing and smiling for the cameras.

Shriya Saran opted for a more Western look, wearing a multi-coloured dotted high-slit gown.

Rakul Preet Singh donned a unique black-and-white chess print lehenga, while Neha Sharma opted for a short off-shoulder dress with an over-the-shoulder jacket.

Sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor wore contrasting colours, with Janhvi opting for a multi-coloured heavily embroidered co-ord set, while Khushi donned a high-neck black net gown.
