‘Laapataa Ladies’ teaser out, makers promise an entertaining and fun film

The much-awaited teaser of ‘Laapataa Ladies’ is finally out, giving a glimpse of the mess created around the search for two young lost brides. The film titled ‘Laapataa Ladies’ will hit the screens across the country on January 5, 2024. After 14 years, it is the second film of Kiran Rao as a director after her directorial debut, Dhobi Ghat in 2010.

More on the teaser:

The teaser commences by introducing us to a young man, Deepak Kumar who along with his newlywed wife, embarks on a journey in their wedding attire on a train. However, it slowly transitions to a scene where Deepak can be seen at a police station. Just three days after tying the knot, his wife disappeared. Notably, the teaser also depicts another man approaching the police station with a similar complaint about his missing wife.

An impressive ensemble cast:

The teaser gives a quick glimpse of Nitanshi Goel, Pratbha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in the lead roles.

About the film:

It is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions. However, the script is based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogue are written by Sneha Desai.
