Tirthanand Rao, who worked with Kapil Sharma in a comedy show, tried to die by suicide live on social media.
In the Facebook live video, Kapil Sharma’s former co-star Tirthanand Rao accused his live-in partner of blackmail and extortion. During the Facebook live, he was seen drinking some liquid from an insect repellant bottle. Rao was rushed to a nearby hospital by his friends who watched the video live, officials informed.
The actor said that he was in a relationship with the woman since October and blamed her for this step. He said that the woman had filed a police case against him and is threatening to get married. Rao also informed that he is in huge debt because of his partner.
Meanwhile, as per the police, Rao is being treated at the hospital and his condition is stable now.
It should be noted that Tirthanand Rao had worked alongside Kapil Sharma in ‘Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe’.
