Ranya Rao Arrest: The arrest of Kannada film heroine and Karnataka DGP's daughter Ranya Rao has exposed a big gold smuggling racket in the country. These people bring gold consignments from abroad to India and using their status, they easily get out of the airport. According to the DRI officials, this network has been working behind these white collar people for a long time.

Gold biscuits of the same pattern were found in Delhi too
As the investigation of the case is underway, new things related to this gang are also coming to light. According to DRI officials, after the arrest of Ranya Rao at Bengaluru airport, three people were caught smuggling gold at Delhi airport. The same type of gold biscuits have been recovered from these three as were found with Ranya. Since the pattern of biscuits in all these cases is the same, it is believed that all of them belong to the same gang.

The difference between them is that the three accused arrested in Delhi had brought a consignment of gold from Myanmar. 2 kg 158 grams of gold was recovered from them which was hidden in their shoes. Whereas Ranya had returned from Dubai and 14.2 kg gold biscuits were recovered from her. DRI officials believe that whether it is Ranya Rao or the smugglers arrested in Delhi, all of them are mere pawns. An international gang is behind this entire game.
