After Global fame Mia Khalifa faced a severe backlash for her pro-Palestinian tweets on X, and now Pop star Justin Bieber has also landed in trouble for his post on the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. However, his post was not about Palestine but read, “Praying for Israel.”

Now, here’s a twist, while he intended to extend his support to Israel amid the war, Bieber used a photo of the destruction in Gaza while expressing his support through his Instagram post. But, soon after realising the blunder, he deleted the post and re-shared his message.

Justin Bieber deletes post on Israel-Hamas conflict

Many Hollywood celebrities, including Dwayne Johnson, Jenna Ortega, Gal Gadot and Beiber took to their social media pages to share their views on the ongoing Israel-Palestine war. The Popstar found himself in controversy after sharing a couple of posts.

Taking to his Insta stories, Justin Bieber wrote “Praying for Israel’, with a photo depicting the destruction in Gaza. After realising it, he deleted the post and shared another story without any photo. The latest post read, “Praying for Israel”, with a heartbreak emoticon.

Earlier, he had also shared a story which read, “Truly hurting for both my Israeli and Palestinian friends. I’m pretty sure we all instinctively know evil when we see it. To villainise all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong. I’m not interested in choosing sides, but I am interested in standing with the families, who have been brutally taken from us.”

While the singer deleted the controversial post with the background of Gaza, it quickly garnered the attention of his followers. Many of them have criticised him for his lack of understanding.

About Israel-Hamas conflict

This war erupted on October 07, when Palestinian militant group – Hamas surprisingly attacked on Israel, launching 5,000 rockets in its land-sea-air operation. Hamas called it mission as ‘Operation Al Aqsa.’

Following the attack, Israel declared war against Hamas, which claimed the lives of thousands of people on both sides. Meanwhile, as a retaliation, Israel backfired on the Gaza Strip, ruled by Hamas, calling it ‘Operation Iron Swords.’

The situation is still tense in Israel and Palestine as the attacks are still going on.
