The authenticity of the viral image purporting to show Rowan Atkinson, aka Mr. Bean, in a bedridden state is questionable and an investigation by newschecker.in has revealed that the picture was digitally manipulated with the original image being that of Barry Balderstone, an elderly man suffering from advanced Parkinson's disease, as reported by Mirror.

According to reports, Rowan Atkinson was recently spotted at the British Grand Prix, appearing in good health and high spirits and even showcased his impressive comedic skills by performing a spot-on impression of Martin Brundle during the grid walk.
