Netflix series Indian Matchmaking’s star Pradhyuman Maloo who rejected 150 girls for his marriage, in the first season of director Sima Taparia’s show is now hitting headlines because of his real married life. He tied the knot with actor-model Ashima Chauhaan back in 2022, however, their love story turned into a nightmare when he got accused of domestic violence by his wife and lodged an FIR against him.

Ashima Chauhaan accuses hubby Pradhyuman of domestic violence

According to the media reports, Maloo’s wife Ashima left their home last year in September. Speaking about Ashima’s ordeal, her attorney Anmol Bartaia said, “The allegations with FIR lodged are grave and concerning with domestic violence and constant mental, physical abuse at its core. The matter is in the investigative stage and should be carried in full swing. Ashima is in the process of taking appropriate legal proceedings against the accused by law.”

He also said that Ashima, who is currently staying with her family in Bengaluru, is not in a state of mind in which she can comment on the matter. Meanwhile Pradhyuman Maloo said, “I don’t know about it. To the best of my knowledge, we are in settlement talks with lawyers to resolve our marital issues amicably.”

Meanwhile, one of the contestants in Indian Matchmaking, Rushali Rai said, “He doesn’t seem like that person. I heard that they are breaking up but didn’t know about domestic violence. As far as I’ve known him, this can’t be true.”
