IIFA Awards: Karan Johar, a name synonymous with Bollywood, was honored at IIFA 2024 for completing 25 years in the Indian film industry. The filmmaker, who has gifted fans with some of the most iconic films in Indian cinema, received a special award celebrating his journey. The moment was even more special as the award was presented by none other than Shah Rukh Khan, a frequent collaborator and friend of Johar.Vicky Kaushal announced the honor, saying, “Today, IIFA honors Karan Johar for completing 25 years in the Indian film industry and creating a legacy for the ages.” Johar appeared visibly shocked as he made his way to the stage. His latest film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, was released in 2023, further cementing his position as a powerhouse in the industry.Aside from directing, Karan has also excelled as a producer.
