Hollywood rolled out the red carpet (or rather, the terrazzo) for beloved actor Mark Ruffalo on Thursday, as he received his star on the iconic Walk of Fame. Surrounded by family and friends, including his wife Sunrise Coigney and two of their children, Ruffalo beamed with pride during the emotional ceremony.

Ruffalo, best known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and acclaimed films like "Spotlight" and "The Kids Are Alright," took the stage to express his heartfelt gratitude. He dedicated the star to his family, acknowledging their profound impact on his life and career. "My kids, Bella, Keen, and Odette, you taught me so much," he said, "This is your star, my whole family, in ways that you won't understand for some time."

Adding a touch of lightheartedness, close friend and co-star Jennifer Garner took the podium to share her perspective on Ruffalo's journey. Recalling their work on the iconic rom-com "13 Going on 30."

Garner fondly teased, "How lucky are we to have been in a movie that kids are still dressing up as for Halloween?" She playfully attributed Ruffalo's rom-com success to his signature "scruffy hair and untucked button-down", a look that became a rom-com staple for years to come.

But Garner also hinted at Ruffalo's comedic anxiety, recalling his near-escape from their infamous "Thriller" dance scene in the film. "To work with you, Mark, is to love you," she concluded, "I don't care what anyone says."

Mark Ruffalo's star now shines brightly on Hollywood Boulevard, a testament to his exceptional talent and enduring career. With his family by his side and friends like Garner and Fincher offering heartfelt tributes, the ceremony solidified Ruffalo's place as a true Hollywood legend.
