According to speculations, the Gulf countries will not be seeing the premiere of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's flick Fighter. Producer and film industry specialist Girish Johar claims that the film is now not allowed to be released in any of the Gulf countries save the United Arab Emirates.
The reason for the ban has not been disclosed yet. Girish tweeted, “In a setback, #Fighter is officially banned across Middle Eastern regions for theatrical release. Only the UAE will release the film with a PG15 classification."
According to a media report, a source close to the Fighter team also corroborated the latest information regarding the release of Fighter across Gulf countries, with the exception of the UAE. The creators haven't yet made a formal statement on the matter, though.
Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover play important parts in the film Fighter as well. This is Deepika and Hrithik's first on-screen partnership. On January 25, the aerial action thriller will be presented in Indian cinemas.
