According to speculations, the Gulf countries will not be seeing the premiere of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's flick Fighter. Producer and film industry specialist Girish Johar claims that the film is now not allowed to be released in any of the Gulf countries save the United Arab Emirates.

Why is Hrithik Roshan's Fighter banned in the Gulf?

The reason for the ban has not been disclosed yet. Girish tweeted, “In a setback, #Fighter is officially banned across Middle Eastern regions for theatrical release. Only the UAE will release the film with a PG15 classification."

Impending Statement...

According to a media report, a source close to the Fighter team also corroborated the latest information regarding the release of Fighter across Gulf countries, with the exception of the UAE. The creators haven't yet made a formal statement on the matter, though.
