Hema Malini calls Gadar 2 ‘exceptional’

Hema Malini, a veteran actor, commended Sunny Deol and gave Gadar 2 a positive evaluation. Sunny’s father, famous actor Dharmendra, is Hema’s husband. On Saturday night, Hema left the movie theatre where she had just seen it and engaged in conversation with the photographers. Hema described the movie as ‘interesting’ and felt it had a “nice message for India and Pakistan.”

Hema Malini was heard speaking in front of the theatre in a video posted on Instagram by a paparazzi.

Here’s what she said:

She said, “Gadar dekh kar aayi hun. Bohut hi accha laga. Jo expected tha waese hi tha. Bohut hi interesting hai. Aesa lag raha tha ki 70s aur 80s ka us zamane ka film k jaesa ek daur hai. Us daur ko leke aaye hai Anil Sharma ji ne bohut beautiful direction kiya hai (I just watched Gadar. I liked it a lot. What was expected, it’s exactly that. It is very interesting. It felt like a film from the 70s and 80s era. Anil Sharma has beautifully directed the era).”

Gadar 2 continues to soar, mints this much…

According to the sources, Gadar 2 has minted ₹284.63 crore just within a week of its release. On its second Saturday, August 19, the film earned ₹32 crore net India taking the total to ₹336.13 crore.
