According to a witness in the Mumbai drug bust case, there is an allegation that a demand of Rs 25 crore was made on behalf of Sameer Wankhede, the zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in order to release Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested in connection with the case.

In an affidavit that has been notarized, Prabhakar Sail, the bodyguard of KP Gosavi, a witness in the NCB case, has stated that Gosavi made the alleged demand on behalf of Sameer Wankhede, the NCB officer involved in the Mumbai drug bust case.

At present, KP Gosavi, who gained attention for taking a selfie with Aryan Khan, is one of the witnesses in the case and is currently evading authorities.

In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Prabhakar Sail revealed his firsthand account of the events that unfolded after Aryan Khan’s arrest. According to his notarized affidavit, Sail stated that he accompanied KP Gosavi on the night of the raid.

Sail further alleged that he witnessed a meeting between Gosavi and an individual named Sam near the NCB office. They later drove to Lower Parel, where another blue car joined them. Sail claimed to have seen Shah Rukh Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, seated in that car.

According to Sail’s claims, during their conversation, Gosavi and Sam demanded Rs 25 crores but eventually agreed to settle for Rs 18 crores. Sail alleged that in this alleged conversation, Gosavi stated that Rs 8 crores out of the Rs 18 crores would go to Wankhede, while the remaining amount would be distributed among others.

Sail further stated that the next morning, he was instructed to go to Tardeo, where he collected a sum of Rs 50 lakhs from a white car.

According to Sail’s account, Gosavi instructed him to return the collected amount to Sam at the Trident Hotel. However, Sam objected, claiming that the amount was reduced by Rs 12 lakhs and was only Rs 38 lakhs. Sail had a conversation with Gosavi, who assured him that the remaining amount would be returned within the next two to three days.

In addition, Sail alleged earlier in the day that he was forced to sign a blank panchnama by the NCB in relation to the case. He also expressed concerns about his safety, as he felt threatened by Sameer Wankhede after Gosavi went missing under suspicious circumstances.

Prabhakar Sail had captured videos and pictures during the raid, including one where Gosavi is seen holding a phone in speaker mode and making Aryan Khan speak to an unidentified person.

Following the rejection of his bail application by a special court in Mumbai on October 20, Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, continues to be in prison. He was arrested in early October in connection with a drugs case.
