False allegations: Soundarya’s husband breaks silence, calls out fake news on Mohan Babu

As per reports, a complaint was filed against Mohan Babu for reportedly being a part of South actress Soundarya's death that occurred in a plane crash. But the actress's husband, GS Raghu, has made it clear that it is a 'baseless news'. He has released an official statement regarding the same. Read on to find out more.

Soundarya, a widely known personality in South cinema, died in the air crash of 2004. She had made her impression in Hindi with her work in Sooryavansham starring Amitabh Bachchan. There were recent reports that Andhra Pradesh's Khammam district has lodged a complaint against Mohan Babu for his purported role in the actress's death.

According to reports, the complainant alleged that the Soundarya death was not an accident but a murder and it involved Mohan Babu as they had a dispute over land. Now, Soundarya's husband GS Raghu has issued a clarification on the same and has termed the reports as 'baseless news'.

Official statement

 To make it clear, I hereby declare that there is no property illegally obtained by Shri Mohan Babu sir from my wife Late Smt. Soundarya. We never had any land dealings with him as far as my knowledge goes." He also revealed that his family has a good rapport with Mohan Babu. The message stated, "I know Shri. Mohan Babu sir for last 25 + years and have a strong and good relationship.

Soundarya's husband clarification

I Respect shri Mohan Babu sir on this and wanted to share the reality with you all. As this is a false news and request you all, to stop spreading the wrong news across. Request you all, Lets end up at this given point of time." Mohan Babu, currently occupied with the promotions of his upcoming film Kannappa, has also not yet commented on the news. But, with Soundarya's husband clarifying, the old-timer actor can definitely heave a sigh of relief.
