Former beauty queen and actress, Jaquelin Carrieri (48) from Argentina died due to complications due to plastic surgery. Carrieri was a mother of two, who was suffering from a blood clot at an unnamed clinic in Los Angeles, California where she died on Sunday, October 1, her relatives have confirmed.Jaquelin was a runner-up in the beauty pageant at the San Rafael en Vendimia grape harvest festival in 1996 and was previously crowned queen of her district.Jaquelin Carrieri dies in LA Her relatives announced the news of her demise on her Instagram and wrote “ Jaquelin Carrieri, who was Queen of Punta del Agua District and Deputy Queen of San Rafael Department in 1996, has passed away.“From Reinas de San Rafael, we want to extend our condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time.”As per media sources, Jaquelins two children Chloe and Julian were with her in America at the time of her death. Moreover, it is unclear what cosmetic surgery she had done and at which clinic.Jaquelin Carrieri recieves tribute The Facebook page of Reinas Vendimiales San Rafael Mendoza also paid tribute to the beauty queen and called her a “woman of great talent”. The statement posted on October 2 wrote “Jaquelin Carrieri has passed away She was a woman of great talent, an actress in one of our departments plays that was being performed at the Roma Theatre until just a few days ago.”The statement also said that Jaquelin owned a high-end fashion store called Jaquelin Carrieri Boutique but was shut down during the pandemic. It was also added that she was well known for dressing the San Rafael pageant queens for many years.She passed away in Los Angeles, California, due to a stroke that may have been caused by cosmetic surgery, the statement further mentioned.One of Jaquelins close friends, Jorgelina Olivera also expressed her grief on the sad news and said “Thank you, a thousand thanks for coming into my life and painting it with so much joy and happiness. It was a pleasure to share moments with you, and I will be eternally grateful.”
