In a latest development in the snake venom case, the Noida Police have now questioned YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav for alleged use of snake venom at a rave party in the city.

Elvish Yadav again questioned by Noida Police

Reportedly, Elvish Yadav secretly appeared before the police at Sector-20 Police Station to avoid the media glare. He might be questioned today (November 08) as well.

The Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner has continuously made headlines since last week after snake venom was recovered from a rave party in Noida. The police arrested five people over the alleged use of snake venom at the party.

Later, when the accused were interrogated by the police, Elvish Yadav’s name came up. The arrested accused revealed that they used to supply snakes to parties organised by the 26-year-old YouTuber.

Forest Department’s stance

According to the forest department, they had sent five snakes for medical evacuation. In a medical report, it was revealed that the venom gland of a cobra was taken out while the remaining four snakes were found not to be poisonous.

Notably, taking out the venom glands of a snake is a punishable offence under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Moreover, a person can be jailed for seven years if he or she is found guilty.

Taking notes from the medical examination, the snakes were released into the forest after court permission.

Elvish Yadav refutes all claims

Amid these serious allegations against the YouTuber, Elvish Yadav has dismissed all allegations against him, calling them "baseless" and not even "1 per cent true".

In a video post on Instagram, Yadav said that he will fully cooperate with the police and will take responsibility for the case if any accusation is even remotely found to be true.

Further, he has also threatened to sue BJP MP Maneka Gandhi over the case after the latter demanded his arrest.
