In a recent development in the case involving Elvish Yadav's alleged involvement in a snake venom-rave party, the police have disclosed that a forensic examination has identified the presence of venom from cobra and krait species of snakes in samples confiscated from the party.

Elvish Yadav, a well-known YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, has been embroiled in legal troubles following a raid on a rave party he attended in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in November 2023. The raid was conducted on suspicion of snake venom being used as a form of intoxicant by the party attendees.

Yadav is accused not only of attending the party but also of being involved in the supply and use of snake venom. During police interrogation, he implicated Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, alleging that the snakes featured in one of the singer's videos were provided by him.

Last year, five individuals were arrested for smuggling snakes in a sting operation by the NGO People for Animals (PFA). These individuals disclosed that they had supplied snakes for Elvish Yadav's party, leading to the rescue of nine snakes, including five cobras, and the recovery of approximately 20 ml of suspected snake venom from the party venue.

Elvish Yadav, who rose to fame through his YouTube channel and reality show victory, refuted all allegations. He has been questioned twice by the police regarding his involvement in the sale of snake venom, based on statements from Rahul Yadav, a supplier apprehended in connection with the party. The accused individuals claimed during interrogation that they supplied snake venom at rave parties organized by Elvish Yadav.

Meanwhile, samples from the rave party were sent to the Jaipur Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis, resulting in the filing of an FIR against Elvish Yadav at the Noida Sector 49 police station. While the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1985 governs drug use, no charges under this act have been brought forth as no drugs were discovered at the scene. Elvish Yadav has dismissed the charges as unfounded and vowed to fully cooperate with the ongoing police investigation.
