Ektaa Kapoor unveils ‘LSD 2’ first poster; film to clash with Akshay Kumar starrer

Producer Ektaa Kapoor took to social media on Friday to unveil the first poster for her upcoming production ‘Love, Sex aur Dhokha 2’.

She revealed the poster on Instagram and Twitter, and captioned it as, “Who needs roses and chocolates when you can have likes and reposts? From Love in the times of Camera to Love in the times of the Internet. On the Valentine’s 2024 weekend choose your poison: LOVE, SEX AUR DHOKHA! #LSD2 IN CINEMAS from 16th Feb 2024.”

The comments under the posts were overwhelmingly positive, with fans leaving comments such as ‘Can’t wait’ and ‘Loved the poster’.

LSD 2 to release on this date…

Ektaa Kapoor revealed that LSD 2 will hit the theatres on February 16, 2024. As such, it is slated to clash with the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ starring Akshay Kumar.

LSD 2 will be directed by Dibakar Banerjee and will be presented by Balaji Telefilms Limited and Cult Movies. It was announced by Ektaa and Dibakar back in 2021 but was delayed due to multiple reasons.

LSD 2 is a sequel to the 2010 cult hit Love Sex Aur Dhokha. It was directed by Dibakar Banerjee and starred actors Rajkummar Rao, Neha Chauhan, Anshuman Jha, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and others.

Earlier, Ektaa and Dibakar arrived at the Bigg Boss 16 house to cast actors for the film, and it is being reported that contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who has starred in TV soaps, was roped in as the lead actress.
