Amandeep Sohi, known for her memorable stint in Badtameez Dil, passed away on March 7 after grappling with jaundice. The tragic news was confirmed by Dolly's brother, Manu Sohi, who revealed that both sisters were admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Mumbai. In a heartbreaking statement, Manu expressed the family's devastation, stating, "Both Dolly and Amandeep were admitted to Apollo Hospital in New Mumbai. Amandeep passed away yesterday and now Dolly." The funeral for Dolly is scheduled to take place on Friday afternoon.

Dolly Sohi, an active presence on Instagram, frequently shared moments of her life with her dedicated fan base. In one of her recent posts, she conveyed gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers, acknowledging life's tumultuous nature. She shared her perspective, saying, "Life has been a Roller Coaster lately, But if u have the strength to fight with it then ur journey becomes easier. It’s up to u what do u choose to be A Victim Of Journey (CANCER) Or A Survivor Of Journey."

Reports indicate that Dolly was previously married to Avneet Dhanowa, an NRI residing in Canada. The late actress leaves behind her daughter, Amelie. Dolly opened up about the challenges of revealing her diagnosis to her daughter. At the tender age of 14, Amelie was gently informed about her mother's condition, with Dolly assuring her that she would emerge victorious in her battle against the illness.
