Entertainment News: Sunny Deol's film 'Jat' was released on April 10 and started well at the box office in the first week. However, now the film has become a cause of a religious controversy, which is being raised finger on the makers and actors of the film.
In a scene of the film, Randeep Hooda is shown standing on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and standing on top of the altar, which has caused resentment in the Christian community. There are allegations about this scene that the filmmakers intentionally included this scene to hurt religious sentiments. In addition, the film also has a slaughter scene in the church, which is further enhancing the controversy.
People from the Christian community are protesting against this film. In a video, people are seen shouting slogans "Randeep Hooda Murdabad". He planned to protest outside the cinema hall, but the police stopped him. Subsequently, he submitted a memorandum to the Joint Commissioner and demanded a ban on the film within 48 hours. Also, he has demanded legal action against the manufacturers.
In the film 'Jat', Randeep Hooda plays a brutal gangster Ranatunga, who stands against the character of Sunny Deol. Randeep has increased his weight by eight kg for this role. Director Gopichand Malineni has introduced Randeep as a dangerous and strict gangster.
