The Continental: From the World of John Wick, the widely anticipated spin-off series, now has an official trailer. The intriguing three-part prequel series, which explores the history of the legendary hotel for assassins from the John Wick universe, premiered its trailer on Thursday. The first episode, which is being directed by Albert Hughes and Charlotte Brandstrom, will debut on September 22. Subsequent episodes will be released every week after that.

The John Wick universe’s upscale hotel is where the younger Winston Scott (Colin Woodell) and Charon (Ayomide Adegun) are depicted in the trailer as they are forced into a struggle for dominance and survival. The setting is 1970s New York. The series will examine the history of the infamous hotel for assassins from the John Wick universe through the eyes of a young Winston Scott as he is forced into the Hellscape of 1970s New York City and confronts a past he believed he had left behind. In a perilous endeavor to take control of the hotel where he will finally establish his throne, Winston plots a fatal route through the enigmatic underworld of the inn.

The cast includes Mel Gibson, Michelle Prada, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, Ayomide Adegun, Jeremy Bobb, and Peter Greene.
